Victory! Kasich vetoes student voting provision in House Bill 53 (4/01/2015)

Our petition to Ohio Governor John Kasich urging him to line-item veto a provision in H.B. 53, the transportation budget, that would limit student voting rights, was successful.  We gathered over 2,280 signatures on our Moveon petition, and combined with efforts from other organizations, Governor Kasich was contacted at least 6,000 times asking him to veto the provision.
